Thank you. I hope that the book will generate more interest in Bruce. He really contributed a great deal to science, particularly oceanography

Your books are importantly preserving our pioneering heritage of heroes such as William Speirs Bruce, whose work may otherwise be forgotten.

Dennis Kleinman is (i think), American, though you would not pick this up from his recording. He has a great deal of experience and does a great job

The audiobook, I am told, will be ready in a couple of weeks. I heard on the radio that the sales of audiobooks is increasing hugely, so I hope this one will join the trend

Rarely are scientific achievements, or great human endeavours, the result of the efforts of a single individual. Isobel Williams is passionate about shining a light on the unsung heroes – especially those involved in polar exploration. Once again she employs her great skill and enthusiasm to bring us new insight to an important explorer, one who has contributed hugely to meteorology and oceanography.

Isobel Williams builds a strong case supporting Bruce’s right to a place among the heroes of polar exploration.

      It’s a long haul!
Our aim is to get his name generally recognised at least
